The journey of The Mind of Christ Church began on March 2, 2007, with a small Bible study in Pastor Chapman’s basement. As attendance grew, Pastor Chapman agreed with Mother Chapman that if it exceeded thirty people, he would relocate the church. This milestone marked the start of a growing ministry dedicated to faith, fellowship, and community outreach. 

The Mind of Christ Church is a community church that serves humanity. We work to serve our community in the areas of providing safe haven programs for “Youth at Risk”, assisting single parent families, feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, assisting with referrals to homeless shelters, and drug rehabilitation treatment centers.

 Our Outreach Mission - The Motivational Outreach Community Program   serves the Greater St. Louis City/East St. Louis area by supporting at-risk youth through programs that promote positive behavior, work ethics, and family engagement. We continuously expand our network to assist families in need and promote wellness. 

 Elder Darrell A. Chapman, Sr. is the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Mind of Christ Church. With over 30 years in outreach ministry, he follows God’s vision to reach and lead people to the Lord. Mother Delores Chapman, First Lady and Co-Founder, is an anointed speaker, teacher, and administrator who faithfully serves alongside her husband in the East St. Louis metropolitan area.
